According to the study produced by the financial authorities, one in 10 participants of the cryptocurrency industry is aware of the regulator’s notifications and warnings about digital assets.
The FCA’s study showed that more than 2.3 mln adults in the UK store or use virtual coins. It represents about four percent of the country’s population and shows that an additional 400,000 joined the crypto market since January 2020.
The stats also showed that the number of UK adults who know about cryptocurrencies rose from 73 up to 78% this year.
