NWUS cannot carry out regulated activities

The FCA recently confirmed it had rejected the NWUS application. NWUS has applied for a permit to conduct activities related to credit debt and credit information. The FCA explained that it could not guarantee that NWUS would meet the threshold conditions of Law 6. Also, the authority is not sure that the company will conduct its business in good faith and comply with all the proper rules. FCA’s doubts are related to Stephen Bennett, who was previously a shareholder and director of NWUS. Referring to the activities of other companies under Benetton’s management, the authority is not sure that the company will be able to carry out its activities correctly and honestly.
