Nigeria Announced the Regulation of the Crypto Industry

SIBAN, or in other words, a blockchain protection group in Nigeria, stated that cryptography and cryptocurrency are legal and called on the state to separate itself from the regulation of this branch. The group is also interested in the state recognizing cryptocurrency as a legitimate asset. SIBAN calls on the state to start regulating cryptography at the legislative level but at the same time not to interfere in the internal process of blockchain technologies. All proposals were formalized in the official form of a statement, but there has been no response yet.
