With the addition of a Bitcoin ATM place within the Senate Building, Mexico currently boasts 14 Bitcoin ATMs around the country. It’s safe to assume that this is an obvious sign of the country’s positive outlook and enlightenment in the crypto sphere.
The ATM was placed this Tuesday and was legislated by Miguel Angel Mancera, representative of the democratic party in Mexico.
Interest in the digital asset sphere has been on the rise for the past few months in Mexico. Crypto holding data informs that over 40 percent of businesses at this very moment are contemplating on using a blockchain system and integrating a digital currency of some form.
Furthermore, Bitso, Mexico’s main digital currency transaction platform, increased in size by more than 300 percent in the last two years, and the platform boasts a number of users rising to over 1 million.
