Recently, the Kazakhstan authorities reported earnings gained from cryptocurrency mining.
Kazakhstan currently holds the title of the world’s largest bitcoin mining hub. This Monday, the authorities of Kazakhstan revealed $1.5 million in revenue from energy fees on bitcoin miners.
Although, government representatives declare that the amount they gained was nowhere near what they expected to see. This is all due to a necessary recent shut down of a number of bitcoin mining firms.
Moreover, the central authorities of the country have revealed their plans to forward a new cryptocurrency bill in which they’ll raise the local mining fee even higher.
