As stated in the report from the Data Center Industry and Blockchain Association of Kazakhstan, cryptocurrency mining can be a profitable segment for the country.
Currently, this segment brings approximately $230 mln every year.
According to the local news outlet capital.kz, Alan Dordzhiev, the president of the association, noticed that this sum is accumulated due to the registered organizations only. Due to “grey” miners, the sum can be doubled.
It is expected that the situation will change and bring more than $1.5 bln in the next five years.
