ASIC wants to prolong Retail CFDs prohibitions till 2031

The Australian financial regulator ASIC has added a consultation document. According to the latest information published by the officials, they are planning to prolong the already implemented restrictions on the sale and distribution of retail contracts for differences until April 1, 2031.

It is important to note that this year financial authorities implemented prohibitions. So, this restriction will run out by the end of March next year.

These new rules came along with the retail CFDs trading implemented by authorities of the EU earlier.
