The Russian central bank announced its plan to widen its blacklist of financial market participants involved or suspected of fraudulent actions like Ponzi schemes. Among them were added approximately 105 companies like cryptocurrency firms, illegal credit firms and forex brokers. Most of them have been classified as financial pyramid schemes.
Moreover, it is important to note that Russian financial authorities monitor the segment and detect illegal and fraudulent providers, blacklist them and warn investors about fraudulent organizations and potential risks.
