ASIC published information that Societe Generale has followed the extra Australian financial services licence requirements inflicted on the organization, and they were declined this June. In addition, the company showed its attestations.
It is important to note that these rules were integrated into the company a year ago. According to these requirements, the firm had to hire an irrespective specialist to estimate and check out the adequacy and effectiveness of its measures, tech and processes.
This requirement was needed to ensure that the company operates according to the customer funds rules of the Corporations Act 2001.
