Meta was sued due to false ads

Facebook deliberately placed and distributed false crypto promotions. Australia is taking legal action against Mata and Facebook for the fake or misguiding info. The ACCC said the Facebook platform violated Australian client rights. It is alleged that the organization knew that fraudulent crypto ads were published on the platform, but the team behind the organization did not solve the issue – the regulator commented on this issue. In 2018, Facebook banned the promotion of crypto advertising. However, users have found many ways to overcome the ban.
