Estonian financial authorities are preparing new rules to tighten regulation of the cryptocurrency segment. The Baltic nation’s regulator for the industry is considering whether to cancel previously published cryptocurrency licenses and restart the new system from scratch.
With only around 1.3 mln citizens, this country is one of the least populated parts of the European Union and the Eurozone. However, this small country has become a place for bringing a wide set of cryptocurrency organizations. They were attracted by the crypto-friendly regulation that was established several years ago.
