The parliament of the Economic Community of West African States warned investors against cryptocurrencies. In its notification to traders and investors of alternative coins, the legislative authority highlighted that these coins have many ups and downs because they are volatile. In addition, it is too risky to invest in these assets.
According to its report, this parliamentary warning came after the joint committee assembly. The meeting, according to the information published in the report, had been convened to discuss the abilities and future of cryptocurrencies.
These coins can be used in an exchange process. Users can still refuse to accept them as a means of payment.
